Anna Gunn
Anna Gunn has been an actress for over 20 years. Her most well-known role was Skyler in the AMC's Breaking Bad drama, and won Primetime Emmy Award Outstanding Supporting Female Actress in Drama Series 2013 and 2014. The actress has also appeared as Jean Ward in The Practice, and Martha Bullock in Deadwood. Anna Gunn was born in Sante Fe New Mexico, in the year 1968. She fell in love performing in Preparatory School before moving to Ohio with her family in the early 1970s. She attended Northwestern University to study theatre and also spent time at the British American Drama Academy. Anna performed in Chicago's theater for many years prior to taking on film and television parts. In 1992, Anna landed her first big role in the role of Arden in the 29th episode of Down the Shore. Anna continued to be in film as well as TV shows such Seinfeld, NYPD Blue and other shows until the end of the 1990's. Anna was later selected for The Practice as Jean Ward. Martha Bullock played two full seasons of Deadwood and was filming in the mid 2000's. Skyler was the character she played on Breaking Bad. Sully was also one of her roles. Gunn was also in the David Schwimmer directed the film Sex With Strangers. In addition, she played in the show Numbered Day, which is an audio-based podcast that consists of four audio dramas. Breaking Bad often revolves around Walter White and Skyler's relationship. The strains and eventual demise mirror the last few years in the story of Walter White.
